"괜찮은 저가 나파벨리 카베르네쇼비뇽"
저가 나파벨리 와인이라고 하면 오크에 절여저서 나오는 초코바닐라, 또는 스모크 버터 향이 진득한 와인일 것 같다는 두려움이 있다. 그러나 미국 캘리포니아의 최고봉이라 할 수 있는 'Insignia'를 플래그쉽 라인업으로 갖고 있는 조셉 펠프스 와이너리는 저가와인도 괜찮게 만들어 내었다. 물론 약간의 피망향을 피할 수 없고, 보르도 품종의 강력한 펀치를 기대할 수 없다. 그러나 포도가 갖고 있는 포텐셜을 잘 살려 균형있는 와인을 만들어내었다. 식사와 함께한다면 훌륭하겠다.
"Decent, cheap Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon"
When I say low-cost Napa Valley wine, there is a fear that it will be chocolate vanilla, or smoked butter wine. However, Joseph Phelps Winery, which has 'Insignia', Top class wine in California, as its flagship lineup, made good valuable wines. Of course, you can't avoid a hint of bell pepper aroma, and you can't expect the powerful punch of the Bordeaux variety. However, the wine is well balanced. Gastronomy wine!
