실크같고 묵직한 호주 쉬라즈... 멋진 와인이지만 취향과는 거리가 있음!

향에서는 검은 과실이 엄청난 볼륨으로 들이닥치고, 약간의 제비꽃이 느껴진다. 시원달달한 향신료 풍미와 함께 가죽향의 숙성미도 아주 조금 느껴진다. 엄청난 과실의 볼륨때문인지 다른 향들이 전체적으로 뒤로 빠져있고, 때문인지 조금 단조롭게 느껴진다. 만약 5-10년정도 더 지나 숙성이 좀 더 진행된다면 복합미도 살아나고 덩치가 큰 과실은 조금 절제가 될 것이다. 입에서는 엄청나게 실키한 질감을 보여주고 입을 꽉 채우는 생크림같은 묵직함을 보여주지만 16%의 알콜을 완벽하게 커버할 정도로 밸런스가 좋다. 엄청나게 좋은 와인임은 분명하나 산도가 조금 부족하고 복합미가 아직은 좀 부족하여 개인적인 취향에는 맞지 않는 것 같다.

Silky, fat Australian Shiraz... great wine but far from my taste!

From the nose, black fruits comes in with a tremendous volume, and I could feel some hint of violet. Along with the refreshing flavor of spices, I could also feel the aging note of leather. Maybe it's because of the tremendous volume of fruit, other notes were hiding behind it, it feels a little simple. Next 5 to 10 years, the complexity will be better because the huge fruit will be a little restrained. At the mouth, it shows a very silky texture and the full body of whipped cream, but it is well balanced enough to cover 16% alcohol perfectly. It is clear that it is a very good wine, but it does not seem to suit my personal taste because it lacks a little bit of acidity and complexity.
