윌리엄셀렘 좀 잘 만드는구나?

장미보다는 짙은 제비꽃과 같은 꽃향을 시작으로, 마른 라즈베리, 크랜베리등의 싱그러운 붉은 향이 기본을 이룬다. 줄기를 어느정도 쓴 듯한 팔각향 또는 콜라향이 아주 잘 익은 느낌으로 들어있다. 농축된 과실향에 걸맞게 오크도 충분히 사용하여 과실향을 해치지 않으면서도 한층의 풍미를 더한다. 피니쉬로는 숲바닥의 낙엽과 버섯등의 시원하면서도 쿰쿰한 3차향이 은은하게 남는다. 이전에 마셨던 소노마 코스트의 와인은 째미한 과일 풍미와 높은 알콜에 묵직한 바디를 갖고있는 스타일이였는데, 쿨 클라이밋의 피노누아를 좋아하는 나로서는 썩 좋지 않은 와인이였다. 반면 윌리엄셀렘은 유명세에 걸맞게 잘 만들어냈다고 생각한다. 다만 국내에서 구하기 힘들고 형성된 가격대가 높기 때문에 저 가격으로 다시 구매할지는 의문이다. 우연한 기회에 다시 만난다면 당연히 환영!

It is based on the note of flowers of violets rather than roses, as well as the refreshing red aroma of dry raspberries and cranberries. The notes of star anis or cola, which seems to have used some stems which is very ripe without herbaceous nuiance. In accordance with the concentrated fruits, oak is used generously to add a further flavor without spoiling the fruits. As a finish, the cool and savory tertiary notes of fallen leaves and mushrooms at the forest floor remains. The Sonoma Coast wine I drank before had a jammy fruit flavor and a full body with high alcohol, though it was not a very good wine for me who liked Pinot Noir of Cool Climit. On the other hand, I think William Selyem made it well suited to their fame. However, it is doubtful whether I will buy it again at a resonable price because the price range is high, which is difficult to get in Korea. Of course, welcome to meet this wine again by chance!
