나파에서 꽤 잘만든 보르도 블랜드 와인!!

잘 익은 피망향과 블랙베리, 블루베리, 카시스에 은은하게 나는 정향과 삼나무 향, 약간의 가죽향은 우선 보르도 블랜드를 의미했다. 피망향이 잘 익었다는 것은 정말 일조량이 좋은 곳이나 그런 빈티지의 카베네소비뇽 베이스의 와인이거나 카베르네 프랑또는 메를로일 가능성이 있다는 뜻이다. 입에서는 약간의 꽉 잡아주는 탄닌이 카베네소비뇽의 존재감을 드러내주었다. 그럼 보르도일까? 특징적인 빵굽는향이 없다. 칠레라고 하기엔 달달한 모과향이 전혀없다. 호주라고 하기엔 피망을 넘어 아스파라거스나 유칼립투스까지 익어야할 것 같다. 따라서 나파벨리의 카베르네소비뇽을 콜했고 정답!! 과실도 정말 잘 익었고 와인메이킹에서 밸런스 있게 아름다운 와인을 뽑아냈다는 생각이 들었다.

Pretty well made Bordeaux Blend wine in Napa!!

The nose of ripe bell peppers, blackberries, blueberries, and casis with the subtle cloves and cedarwood scents means Bordeaux Bland. A ripe bell pepper means that there is a possibility that it is indeed a place with good sunlight, or warm and sunny vintage Cabenet Sauvignon-based wine, or maybe it could be Cabernet Franc or Merlot. At the palate, a little tight tannin revealed the presence of Carbenet Sauvignon. Then is it Bordeaux? There is no characteristic of baking brioche. There is no sweet quince scent to call it Chile. To call it Australia, it have to be more riped pyrazine such as  asparagus or eucalyptus. So I called Napa valley's Cabernet Sauvignon and got it right!! The fruits were riped really well, and I thought that the beautiful wine was extracted in a balanced way from wine making.
