[Tasting note]

"조신하게 쿰쿰한..."

색은 연한 가넷색으로 예쁘게 익었다. 색만 봐도 힘이 쭉 빠진 하늘하늘한 피노누아임은 분명하다. 향에서는 마른 산딸기나 앵두체리의 새콤한 향이 희미해져 가고, 민트, 버섯, 숲 바닥, 젖은 나뭇잎등의 얼씨한 풍미가 지배적이다. 입에서는 부드럽다기보다 상큼 한쪽에 가깝다. 화이트와 레드 그 중간쯤 있는 듯한 질감이다. 탄닌은 미세하고 섬세하게 있으며, 산도는 쿰쿰한 향에 생명력을 약간 불어넣어 준다. 풍미는 향에서와 비슷하다. 팔렛 클랜저처럼 깔끔하게 넘어가고 은은한 숙성향이 짧게 희미 해저 간다. 개인적으로 오레곤, 호주, 뉴질랜드의 피노누아에게 기대감이 크다. 앞으로 종종 경험해 볼 것이다. 브루고뉴의 가격은 미쳐가기 때문이다. 

"Quiet & Earthy"

Color is pale garnet which links me to elegance without power. On nose, dried raspberry or cranberry is shallow at the base and minty, earthy character of mushroom and wet forest floor notes are dominant. On palate, it is tarty rather than smooth. It feel almost like something between red and white wine. Tannin is fine and delicate, good amount of acidity gives a live to this old lady. Flavor is similar to nose. It goes on cleanly like a palete cleanser and delicate earthyness fade out. 

Personally, I have high expectations for Pinot Noir from Oregon, Australia and New Zealand. I will experience it often. Because prices in Burgundy are going crazy.
