[Tasting note]

"부싯돌 향의 진수!"

흰 꽃향과 청사과, 배향 약간의 빵굽는 냄새와 함께 가장 두드러지는 것은 매콤한 느낌의 화약냄새 또는 부싯돌 냄새다. 와인 메이커는 모젤의 가파른 걍변에 퇴적된 점판암질의 토양의 테루아를 반영한다고 했으나... 글쎄올시다... 분명 황화합물의 결과물일텐데, 와인메이커들은 flinty함을 이끌어내기 위해 무슨 수를 쓰는걸까... VDP 독수리도 못 달고 와이너리 홈페이지에 소개도 안된 초기본급 서자 와인인데 요즘 내 취향은 독일산 리즐링 트로켄으로 가는 것 같다. 

"The essence of flintiness!"

Along with the nose of white flowers, green fruits, and a hint of bread, the most prominent is the smell of gunpowder or flint. The winemaker said it reflected the terroir of the slate-grained soil deposited on the steep sides of the Mozel, but... Well... It must be the result of sulfur compounds, but what do the winemakers do to bring out flinty... It is poor wine that has no VDP eagle and has not been introduced on the winery website, but my taste these days seems to be going to German Riesling Troken.
