양조 : Fruit from our two complementary Central Otago vineyards is mostly de-stemmed into open-top fermentation tanks, with some whole bunch fermentation. In spring, the wine goes through extended maceration and spontaneous malolactic fermentation. The wine then spends a year or more ageing in French oak barrels before bottling.

[Tasting note]

뉴질랜드 피노누아는 잘 안찾게 될 것 같다....

아타랑기에 이어 테와히까지... 달콤한 붉은 과일에 오크풍미가 진하게 담겨 피노누아의 우아함이라고는 찾기 어렵다. 아마도 기후탓에 과숙된 과일로 양조해서 그럴지도 모른다. 입에서 우아한 산도는 누그러져있고 탄닌, 알콜, 바디감이 꽤나 있는 편이다. 맛있는 와인이기는 하나 피노누아를 마셨을 때 기대할만한 맛은 아니다  

I don't think that I will find  Pinot Noir in New Zealand again...

From Ata Rangi to Tewahi... The sweet red fruit has a strong oak flavor, and I can't find the elegance of Pinot Noir. Perhaps because of the climate, it is brewed with overripe fruit. The elegant acidity in the mouth is turned down, and there is a lot of tannin, alcohol, and body. Delicious wine, but not the taste I would expect from a Pinot Noir
